A must read

For my women and gender studies class I was required to read this book and I have to say it was amazing. It is a heartbreaker, but so hard to put down. It is really an eye opener and made me so grateful to live in America. I am currently working on finding his first book The Kite Runner. If anyone is searching for a good read I would highly recommend this book.

Lady Luck....

For the past 24 hours Lady Luck has not been on my side. It all started with my internet failing last night while trying to submit my assignment online. After an hour I finally got it turned in. After mishap I decided it was bed time. Low and behold I can't find my tooth brush. After a quick search I settled for the listerine option and hoped that I would be able to find the toothbrush in morning. After laying in bed until 5 in the morning before being able to fall asleep I have no such luck in the toothbrush department. So listerine, toothpaste rub, and gum it was. Sick, I know. I then went to class and work with questionable breath. While writing my paper at work my computer freezes with out me saving my work. Just when I am about to get upset technology is on my side and my computer saved my draft. Just when I feel luck is on my side I find out that the UPS man is holding my mail hostage and has been for a week. I keep paying the 12 cents, but he will not release the envelope into my custody. I will just have to wait another day and hope for the best or I will be making a phone call to complain.....

Quick Update

So I thought I would post a quick update on my life. Last I really posted about it I was talking of nannying abroad and my adventure to New York City. Currently I am on spring break which means school is coming to an end. I cannot wait for the summer weather! Logan really is cold. Luckily there is warmth in sight. And with summer aproaching I am in search of jobs so I can save up for next school year.

The Marshes

Today Me, Shell and Stu took a little adventure around Logan today. Our main destination was the Marshes. I had no idea they even existed.

The scenery was really pretty and it was a fun little adventure. I am now determined to venture around Logan and find all the random cool spots. I only have a few more months left to do it.

Boycott

So perhaps I have been boycotting the grocery store lately. With spring break in sight I felt like I could hold off of a while.... Perhaps that while has been three or four weeks. I have only bought milk and eggs within those weeks. It actually has become a little game in my mind. I am determined to eat the food I have neglected. I am actually quite impressed with my skill. The other day I had pancakes and french fries for dinner. It was delicious!
