The Stairwell

My apartment is convienantly located right next to the stair well. It had proved to be handie while carrying groceries up or my laundry. I appreciated it. Not only does the stair well prove to be convienantly located, but it provides much entertainment. I never know what I am going to see or who I am going to run into.
Example one: You can't tell from the picture, but over the week the lights went out in the stairwell. It wasn't noticable in the day light, but it proved to be an adrenaline rush at night. I had to go to a 9:30 movie for a class and thus it was late when I ventured into the stairwell. I can say I made really good timing up the four flights of stairs.

Example two: lovers quarells. I have had very good timing with my stairwell entrances. I have happened upon two awkward stairwell fights that involved my roomies. They can be pretty intense.


My final example is singing. Today as me, Katie, and Kelsie were going to get Aggie Icecream and we happened across this. He is one of the boys in the apartment of the " 4 ordained". Sadly he is not a member of the gospel boy band.

Girls Weekend

So I told Shelli that people wouldn't be seeing these pictures, but I was looking through them and I couldn't help but post them. For Fall break the Cluff invited me to there girls retreat. It was a lot of fun and full of activities. We did everything from shopping, bowling (which was embarrassing, but I surprisingly had a good bowling day), pedicures, and a play. It was a much needed break and I quite enjoyed myself. So here are my picture of the weekend. Perhaps Shelli and I took a lot of ourselves. I have to say we look like future models......

Snow Night!!!

It has been snowing in Logan since Friday, but none of it was sticking. It was more slushing. Much to my surprise I looked out the window tonight to see a winter wonderland!!! I was so excited I made Marchelle rush outside with me to take it all in.

I don't think Marchele was as excited as I was, but I did manage to get her to run around as I interpreted danced in the snow. I was a bit sad Katie wasn't there at that moment. She has awesome dancing skills.....

Homemaker

Lately I have had this overwhelming urge to learn some more homemaking skills. I know the basics of cleaning and cooking and I did a bit of quilting this summer, but it doesn't seem like I know a lot. So Friday night I finally gave into the urge and bought how to knit and crochet books.

So here is my attempt number one. I know it doesn't look like much, but it took me a couple of episodes of Gilmore Girls to get that far. I'm still not sure what you do after you make two rows of crochet stitching, but I am sure I will figure it out eventually.

And then there were 5......

So as of this morning I now only have 4 roomies. Courtney came over with her dad this morning to talk to us. She talked to the housing office this morning and is moving out sometime this afternoon. I am thinking this will hopefully be for the best and then all the drama can be over.

Homeless......

Due to a series of fights between roomies, my possessions have been switching from room to room. Yesterday my roomie was Marchele, today it was Sarah, and by the end of the night (due to a lot of yelling, tears, and a note) it should be Marchele again. The interesting part is that the roomies who are fighting have not made up, but have actually increased in anger against one another. I am currently hiding in another empty room in my apartment. As I was pondering my life I have come to the conclusion that I could live with any boy after living a couple of months with six girls. I would be willing to clean up after them and everything. If anyone knows of a place for me to live let me know......
