Fish.....

Half of my apartment left for the weekend so there was just three of us. Saturday night my roomies decided we needed pets. This is what became of it. Meet peanut butter and jelly.

Cleaning out the sink.

So as most of you have know I have officially been a college student for last couple of days. For the most part I have been avoiding the social scene (shocking I know). Well today my roomie Tiffani moved in and we decided it was time to change my lack of social mingling. After a few minutes of interaction I realized that I didn't do it in highschool for a reason. I am thinking now is not the time to change. With that said for our activity we went and cleaned the sink at a local restaraunt. It was quite the experience. If you eat all the ice cream in the sink you get a bumper sticker. The only problem is they only provide one bumper sticker of the whole group. Let down.

Movin Out

So today I officially moved out of my house. It was quite the experience. I have had many mixed emotions for the occasion. Mostly I was sad to leave a certain friend behind.

Suprisingly I had a lot of stuff to take with me. It took us seven grocery carts to get all my stuff into my room. The whole time my dad was convinced that I would not be able to fit it all into the limited space. I never lost faith in my ability to cram a lot of stuff into a small space.

So here is my closet. Notice the hunk of man I have hanging on my closet door. Sadly the mirror pictured no longer exists. My room mate broke it. I thought it was a bad omen to have broken a mirror our first day together. Hopefully it is not a sign for things to come........

So there is the living room. I rearrange the furniture myself.

This is my bed. I got the bed right next to the door so my head either had to be next to the door or my shelves. For safety reasons I chose the shelves.

Here is my bathroom sink. I will be sharing this precious area with Marchelle and Tiffany. I haven't shared a bathroom before so it will be quite the experience. I am sure many good stories will come from it.

This is the view of the kitchen from my bedroom. I have the middle bedroom which leads directly to the kitchen. The kitchen is actually pretty nice minus the detail that is lacks a dishwasher. I think I will manage without it though. I am the proud owner of two shelves though. We have divided up the kitchen quite nicely. Labels were involved. I am a bit concerned about a few things. Someone had the idea that milk, eggs and butter are free game. I shot down that idea.

So there is the tour of my apartment. I will give a brief run down of my room mate situation. My roomie is Marchelle. We got off to a bit of an interesting start, but I feel like we will get along pretty well with time. Sarah and Courtney are in one of the rooms next to mine. They are a treat. Sarah is going into agriculture and has warned us that she spends a lot of time with barn animals and often smells like them. Giddy up. I haven't had much interaction with Courtney. She hasn't said a word to me. Good one. My other two room mates aren't up here yet, but will be joining us sometime next week. Their names are Tiffany and Kelsie. Tiffany was up here to move in some of here stuff, but couldn't stay. I am feeling hopeful about these two roomies.

A must have.

So after much consideration I am thinking that I need these cardigans to combine with my colorful skinny jeans. Just imagine a white shirt underneath the cardigan combined with my assortment of colored jeans.

My Collection

So here is my collection of skinny jeans. They are modeled by none other than myself (Don't mind the purple shirt). I am thinking that I will eventually give in and buy a gray pair soon. I admit that I did go a bit overboard, but I couldn't help it. Once I started I felt I needed every color. I will let you know if I give in and buy more...
